I finally got to sit down and watch the finale of House

And it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
I kinda knew what was going to happen because my sister and friends spoiled it for me, but, man! the ending was gasp worthy. I mean, the entire time seeing House go through that whole mission with Cuddy only to find out that it WAS ALL A HALLUCINATION! That was really tough to watch. I could not help but cringe.
The entire time he thought he was holding Cuddy's lipstick, it was actually his drugs! I actually have no words for it all. The ending was so unlike House, that it felt like I was watching House. But, I guess that's made it a House episode; always surprising viewers.

That's it for now. I know it's late but,
better late than never!

My Input in the American Idol Finale

Okay, so I haven't exactly kept up with American Idol this past season. But, from what I have seen on the news (because this is apparently news worthy to a certain news station where I live) I would have thought Adam Lambert was going to win. Everyone had been talking about him nonstop. I guess there were just more people voting for Kris than Adam.
So, in an effort to educate myself on the final 2, I looked them up on youtube (of course). I saw Kris Allen's performance of "Heartless". I thought it was a very well done cover of the song. To me, it seemed very similar to The Fray's cover of the song. He seemed like a more mellow soft rock kind of guy. He would fit very nicely with my mellow playlist on my iTunes.
For Adam Lambert, I looked up his performance of "Mad World". Wow! His performance was very eerie and reminded of kind of Soundgarden's feel to their music. He definitely has the chops to make it among big names of rock. That song would fit nicely with my songs to relax to (with the likes of Nirvana, John Mayer and countless others. Very good company).

I also heard David Cook performed his moving ballad "Permanent". I am very sad to say I missed the performance and am currently looking for a quality video of his performance. I love this song but, it always makes me cry because of the context behind the song. It was said about his brother, Adam, who unfortunately passed away May 2nd. It is a truly touching song. His album in general, is a series of addicting, powerful songs.

I could talk about David Cook's awesomeness (the word is necessary) all day. But, the next thing I have to say.

NOW HERE IS A COMMENT TO ALL ADAM FANS.....
IF YOU HAD ALL BEEN VOTING FOR ADAM WHEN IT COUNTED AND HADN'T GOTTEN COCKY, THINKING HE COULD WIN WITHOUT YOUR VOTE, THEN MAYBE, just maybe, HE WOULD'VE WON.

That's the end of that. Now, we can move onto the chronicling of the success I KNOW both Adam and Kris will find in different ways (a la David and David last year). I definitely look forward to buying both of their debut albums.

BONES' SEASON FINALE TONIGHT....

was...interesting. It was very odd watching it because, of course, being the (un)lucky person that I am I got held up doing something else and couldn't watch it from the beginning. I probably started about 10 minutes in. But, THANK GOODNESS for DVR. =]
I enjoyed it for the most part, once I understood what the hell was going on. But, just as it was coming towards the end and Booth and Bones were in the hospital, (again, the (un) luckiness) the DVR turns to CSI. CS-freaking-I! I hate that show! So, you can imagine my horror when I don't get to hear what Booth tells Bones. This sets me off into a tiny tangent about how crappy DVR's are.

until tomorrow, when I will able to actually enjoy the episode (thanks to my DVR),
A very impatient BONES fan

My week in review...

Unfortunately, nothing really exciting has happened to me in the past week. It was just a usual first week of May.

I had my Advanced Placement exams this week and I am so glad they are over and I'll never have to take one ever again in my life! Calculus was a pain but, Government and English Lit. were kind of okay.

I am STILL WAITING (rather impatiently, might I add) to hear about the fate of one of my favorite shows, Chuck, which you might have read about from one of my earlier blogs. But, I was surfing the web today (a day off as a reward for what I believe was a good job on the exams =])and saw this list of shows "on the bubble" and any new developments were posted next to each name, thanks to very dependable spoiler source, Michael Ausiello and lo and behold, I saw this glimmering piece of text...

NBC MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE

I also saw AMAZING episodes of House and Bones. With some House/Cuddy action anticipated according to many reports and House Hallucinating as of late, I had to see if it was all in his head...I'll leave it at that. And yesterday's episode of Bones was funny when it had to be and full emotions that pulled at my heart strings. I love those shows and they keep getting better every week.

I can't wait to see the season finales of House and Bones next week. =]

Another show I'm warming up to is Southland, which has taken the spot of E.R. in the 10 o'clock spot for NBC. I'm not sure what it is about the show that I like just yet, but when I find out, I'll write about it.

I also signed up for orientation! I'm so excited! =]

I haven't really kept up with baseball this week, though, I DO know that the Florida Marlins have fallen from grace and landed in 3rd place behind Philadelphia and the Mets and that the Red Sox are holding strong in second place behind the Blue Jays, only a game behind them.

Well, that's it for now.
Until Next Time!
